Holy.
Fucking.
SHIT.
Motherfuck these bitches. I was rooting for them on their FF run with Beard, but fuck that shit. I can't think of a more classless way to treat a dude that won you a shitload of games.
HOLY FUCK that's crazy. If we fired both barrels at a dude for DELCARING FOR THE DRAFT we'd never get another recruit in here. Like ever.
KJ. Dunno what to say, never been more wrong about a KU guy in 40 years of watching
Maybe Harris, Markieff, Ostertag, Braun, Mason, Withey. On and on
I saw Withey practice as a transfer. 7-1 toothpick, total joke. I woulda cut him instantly. Kurt told us “We really like him” and I laughed to myself. Anyway…. [Reply]

I once beat Withey in a tennis match in Lawrence. His basketball skills (for what they were) didn't really extend to other sports. Formidable serve though. [Reply]

Did he have long hair and shorts hanging down to his socks? Did when I saw him scrimmage. Total doofus [Reply]

Hair wasn't all that long, but yes to the latter question. Pretty incredible he went on to be the best defensive player in the NCAA after that and had a half decade career in the NBA. [Reply]

It really is.
9 months after that joke scrimmage I’m in The Loo at the E8 watching him shut down Zeller and Henson and realized I have no future coaching college hoops [Reply]

I think (finally) Pettiford has officially secured the back up point spot. And he’s earned it.
KJ becoming a contributor at the 5 is big too.
This group of wings is as good as we’ve had. I’d just love to see Udeh become a consistent contributor, but that seeems unlikely for this year. [Reply]
