Nzoner's Game Room>Any Bourbon drinkers out there?
The Poz 01:04 PM 06-19-2008
I've heard some good things about Buffalo Trace Bourbon.
http://www.buffalotrace.com/

Can't get it up here north of the border but, through a wine distributer I am able to order a case. Would like to hear from someone who knows their stuff and has tried it before I order.

Thanks

Went to the Hotel bar with my VP of our company and drank Bookers for the first time. Definitely felt it after only a few.

Yip it's about 20% higher than you Bullet types, at least probably more like 24%.

I like Bookers but is a bit harsh for my tastes a little splash of water tames it. I am a huge fan of Bakers 107 its a little mellower good stuff neat.

These are both bourbons from the Jim Beam tree both highly sought after at about the same price point 63.00 Bookers and 55.00 Bakers in KC area. I usually try for Bakers but its a little harder to find around here Strangely Price Chopper always seems to have both so I save the 8.00 bucks.

Bookers is a unique and amazing bourbon. I can certainly taste the higher alcohol content, but beyond that it has it a very distinctive flavor. It is easily in my top 5.

I really like Bookers so will check out Bakers. Think I found a store with a bottle in inventory to pick up today.

Picked up some Bakers and also managed to score a bottle of Col Taylor single barrel which I’ve never had before.

Nice find. It's seririously hard to find around me . I've had ones I enjoy more but consider it a benchmark of good bourbon.

Just picked up my 2nd bottle of Elijiah Craig Barrel Proof. This one is 131.4 proof.

They had a bottle of EC 18 year for $229. I've had it before, and it's really good, but it's not worth that price.
