Hahaha omfg. I haven't thought about that name in a while. How he managed to carve out an 8-year career is beyond me. I hope this kid is better but he absolutely is a reminder of Wilson. [Reply]
Didn't know his name before the draft, but he's my favorite pick!
Awesome RedZone target considering Hill, Kelce, and CEH will already have defenses spread thin. This guy has great route-running, and some fast-twitch suddenness I didn't expect to see in his tape. He's comfortable out of the slot as well which is a big plus! Even out of the backfield as a FB! Pretty sure Mahomes can't get this guy the rock! [Reply]
NOT THAT ONE I WANTED KELCE 2.0! THIS ISNT AN EXACT CLONE!
Let’s be real if this guy turns into a functioning TE like a Sean McGrath type it’s a win at this spot, if he can be a Moeaki type as in a TE1 in any aspect post kelce or during and injury it’s a slam dunk. If he becomes the next killa Trav we should all slurp veachs nuts in an attempt to become smarter.
Ideally he can play tight end and some FB we rarely use one but having an athletic FB that can catch and ceh out of the back field could be used. [Reply]
Here’s a guy who in the nightmare scenario you don’t have Kelce available for some snaps, who can replicate some of his style. The routes, the ability to be a viable threat as a receiver. You can’t ask Blake Bell to play that role.
Obviously it would be a major step down no matter how you slice it, but at least with Gray it’s not a complete waste of a body out there. I think it’s why they held onto RSJ all year in 2021 despite him never really playing. Hopefully Gray can find other ways to contribute still even if he doesn’t see much offensive time early. [Reply]
