He's got a 3 year deal that includes guaranteed money. Definitely not camp fodder.

Beyond special teams he may get jet sweeps and/or toss plays.

Reid will give him some playing time in the pre-season games and he will be popular at training camp.

Guys who run 24mph, are used to carrying/catching a weird shaped ball, are used to being hit and tackled to the ground aren’t out there just floating around. That’s a guy you sign and develop. Especially when he’s 6’3 /219 and only 23.
