I'm in a 1/2 point ppr league. Starting spots 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1Flex, 1 TE

My Roster: QB- Mahomes, Fields

RB- J. Taylor, J. Mixon, AJ Dillon, M. Carter, D. Jackson, Z. Moss

WR- AJ Brown, Amon Ra St Brown, B. Aiyuk, D. Johnson, E. Moore, S. Moore, M. Hardman, A. Pierce

TE- G. Dulcich, I. Likely

I have been offered C. Godwin, G. Pickens, R. Moore, and (T. Lawrence or D. Jones) for J. Fields and Amon Ra St. Brown.

The team offering the trade also has K.Walker, D. Henry, T. Hill, T. Mclaurin if I want to counter.

What are your thoughts?

Make a play to get better. You can't start 7 400 yard receivers.

He clearly wants Fields. Counter for Hill.

Maybe Fields, St. Brown, and Diontae Johnson for Hill and Lawrence

See if he bites it.

Yup, that's the route I'd take as well. I just don't see any point at downgrading at WR2 for an upgrade at...what, WR5? WR3 tops. St. Brown to Godwin is clearly not a lateral move so your WR room goes from Brown, St. Brown, Aiyuk, Johnson, Moore to Brown, Godwin, Aiyuk, Johnson, Pickens....to what purpose? You give up Fields and near as I can tell you've made your starting lineup worse in the process.

And a real dirty thought - would Mahomes/Aiyuk get you Hill? Mahomes/Johnson?

I mean from a strictly fantasy standpoint, that's the home run swing. Oh you may strike out in a big big way, but it's the highest upside move. Fields legs, in any given week, can keep him in the conversation with damn near anyone in fantasy points.

His erratic arm can also take you out of any given matchup if the game script goes south.

It's probably not a move I'd make, but lets say you're sitting in 5th with little more than a punchers chance at making noise in the playoffs - it'd be worth considering. Suddenly you have a QB who can get you 30+ any given day still and a WR corps of Hill/Brown/St. Brown to go with a backfield of Taylor/Mixon.

I mean shit, there will be weeks where that team's just completely unstoppable.
