Get Anthony Hitchens out of here. Nick Bolton was fucking awesome as the MIKE today.

Dude had 15 tackles and 4, yes FOUR tackles for loss. He now has 9 for the year which is more than any non-pass rushing LB in the league.

Myles Garrett lead the league in TFL with 9 previously.

This game sucked but I think we’ve got a very good MIKE backer moving forward. He’s miles better than Hitchens and it’s not even close

Gay is being misused as the SLB. While letting Neimann play the WLB. They should switch. Let Gay use his speed to play off the ball. Instead of being tied up with TEs at the LOS

Our run defense played well enough, we cannot generate a pass rush on third down to save our lives. The defensive line would get its shit pushed in every time.

Since DJ left, Bolton is the first LB I've genuinely enjoyed watching play in a Chiefs jersey.

Hope Gay can gain form, both these guys could be something special.

Really shows just how bad Hitchens has been in that role. When was the last time he made a play anything like a half dozen plays Bolton made today?

Bolton's good at what he does, a run stuffing LB isn't all that valuable in today's league though. Teams will isolate him in coverage for matchups...it happened today when he was in coverage against AJ Brown and well he can't win that.

What LB can? If you have a LB isolated on AJ Brown you have a schematic problem.
