This is exactly why not having a top tier qb can be so frustrating. You can play almost perfect and a team with an elite qb can hang around and win if you dont play mistake free.

With Mahomes you can have some success with the rest of the team performing like they did the first 3Q, but why risk it?

There's a difference between 'writing everything off' and being sober about not being where we need to be, or expected to be.

That said, hopefully getting early sidelined starters back will help, and as always hopefully no important injuries to turn the complexion of the season.

When we beat San Francisco we were able to run the ball in the 4th quarter. Not every single play. I'm not advocating Martyball. But this team has to figure out how to at least mix it up and run a 4 minute drill. We have to show these physical teams like Cleveland and Tampa that they can't just punch us in the mouth and get away with it.
