Anybody watching Hard Knocks? The first episode was pretty good. Dak Prescott story is interesting. He’s hurt again. That Penn State linebacker they got, Micah Parsons, looks like he may be the real deal. Mike McCarthy seems like a good get for them as coach.
This was the most boring season by far. Not sure if the novelty of seeing "behind the scenes" has worn off or if they just couldn't find any interesting stories, but this was pretty dull. The Mahomes fan was great though. [Reply]

Not to mention the 20 minutes of watching the Mexican O-Lineman's mom cheer in Spanish the whole time......OH OH OH!!!!!!
I get showing the family and their excitement, but they spent way to much time on that crap..... [Reply]
An announcement will be made during halftime of Thursday night’s Giants-WFT game that will involve the future of the Hard Knocks' series, per a league official.

This year was boring, but I bet the ratings were fine and HBO needs programming. If HBO or someone else didn't want it, I'm sure it would find a home on the NFL Network.
I would think an expansion of it in some way like you suggested is a lot more likely than ending it. [Reply]
