Dante84 01:00 PM 04-23-2021
developing.

The #Ravens are trading LT Orlando Brown to the #Chiefs, per me and @MikeGarafolo. A new blindside protector for Patrick Mahomes.

Kansas City is trading its first-round pick Thursday night, along with three other picks in the 2021 and 2022 drafts, to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for Pro Bowl OT Orlando Brown and one pick in the 2021 draft and another in 2022, per sources.

Full details: #Chiefs get:
Orland Brown, 2021 2nd and a 2022 6th rounder
Ravens get: 2021 1st, 3rd, 4th and 20221 5th

So it's a 1st (#31) for Brown

and #94, #136, 22 5th round for #58.

That is a monster of a deal. The Chiefs got great, great value back.

Yeah, it's crazy to think that the Chiefs just added a 24 year old, two time Pro Bowler for their 1st round pick and a couple of comp picks.

To get a second 2nd rounder in this draft is going to help out immensely was well, whether they use those picks on a WR, CB, Safety or LBer.

I won't be surprised to see them take a complimentary running back at some point, either.

From what I saw elsewhere the Chiefs got Orlando Brown for the same "draft cost" as pick 46.

If Naing starts at RT and Long or LDT start at RG we will have 5 new guys on the line in just one off season. That is crazy, especially from a team that has gone to the last 2 Super Bowls.

I just don’t think it’s going to happen immediately like Clark’s contract. Maybe over the summer or before training camp.
