I don’t get this either. It’s a sprained ankle.
JC Jackson had minor ankle surgery and was back playing 3 weeks later. They can’t have Butker back by then?
He’s lightly jogging 10 yards on kickoffs and his kicking foot is fine. Even then Reid could do kickoffs.

Ballard may have won that game for them yesterday.
Matt Ammendola won a six-man kicker derby today in Kansas City that also included Cameron Dicker, Elliott Fry, Chase McLaughlin, Cody Parkey and Tristan Vizcaino.

This would indicate it was a Fat Andy-Toub failure more so than the scouts. I suppose the scouts would be faulted for bringing in BrokeDick to begin with but that’s pretty weak sauce [Reply]

At the time, the MEH pick seemed like a homerun. Most fans and so-called experts alike thought he was the "perfect fit" for KC. Even Mahomes thought so. Nobody knew he'd turn into Stephen Hawking immediately after being drafted. [Reply]
1) Probably not the best to have Mahomes become an NFL flavored LeGM
2) In retrospect, it's better to get five years of control for a WR compared to a RB considering it takes over a season for WRs to figure out what they're supposed to do in Reid's offense. [Reply]
KC is clearly the better team, but still they lost.
2022 3rd round pick TE Jelani Woods is hardly used by the Colts. Jelani is 6'7", 275 pounds, so must be in to block. Nope, he has two TDs against us where not even Matt Ryan can miss him. [Reply]
