Just listened to a local radio segment gushing over the idea of the Cards getting Campbell in the 2nd. As their representative, think you just hit a home run. [Reply]

Thanks. Corner is arguably the Cards biggest need, but I couldn’t pass up Slater at slot number 16, and I arguably would’ve taken any of the corners that were selected just before that pick. I wasn’t comfortable with the guys below them like Samuel and Newsome that early. Campbell still around here is decent value and he’s a good player. [Reply]
With the 50th pick, the Miami Dolphins select Creed Humphrey, OC, Oklahoma.
The Dolphins get a long-term solution at the pivot after only signing Skura to a 1-year deal. There's no rush to get Humphrey on the field but if they do, Skura has experience at guard. [Reply]
The Bears are quite pissed. They wanted either Moore, Campbell, Nixon, or Marshall to drop to them and they were just all scooped up. Chicago goes back to their board and somehow finds value at a position of need, although it's not as sexy as the aforementioned picks. This player is versatile as a T/G, with most projections having him at guard.
The Chicago Bears select Alex Leatherwood, OL, Alabama.
The Steelers had a hunch that the Colts would be taking an OT, but had zero stress as there are multiple OTs left that we are comfortable with.
The Pittsburgh Steelers select Liam Eichenberg, OT, Notre Dame
The Steelers wanted to take a LT in round 1, but had their preferred prospect (Jenkins) snatched from their grasp by the evil Jets. Fortunately, the board played out perfectly and they are able to secure a LT they are confident can start day 1 at pick #55. [Reply]
