Teams represented at Odell Beckham Jr.'s private workout in Arizona today included the Panthers, Giants, Patriots, Rams, Cardinals, 49ers, Bills, Chiefs, Vikings, Browns and Ravens, per source.
Talked to a few people who attended Odell Beckham's workout. One noted how noticeably muscular Beckham looks now, likening him to a combination of Saquon Barkley and Deebo Samuel. Another said Beckham is simply a gifted athlete and that hasn't changed. Explosion was there.

This is my hope. The longer this goes, the less they'll probably take. Every day ARI doesn't deal DHop, the more likely he ends up in KC. My gut figures that we've gone from less than a 5% chance to about a 20% chance. [Reply]

I'd bet OBJ is done but imagining him and D Hop on the same unit. With Pat.
I'd like to find out. Having both those guys would cause an explosion of throwed yogurt.... [Reply]

I don't think they'd even play the season if KC somehow acquired both. They'd just hand over the Lombo and then ban any future including those two and Travis wearing the same jersey.
It really wouldn't be fair to the rest of the league. [Reply]
So I'm probably wrong on this and usually I am but let me ask a question that really hasn't been discussed on here- aside from JuJu the WRs who played in the super bowl are still on the roster. What happens if we roll into next year with that same group + middle round drafted guy which I think is a realistic possibility? [Reply]

- Kadarius Toney
- MVS
- Skyy Moore
- Justin Ross
- Ihmir Smith-Marsette
- Jerrion Ealy
- Cornell Powell
That unit needs as much of an upgrade as offensive tackle or defensive line. That group plus a fourth rounder thrown into the mix ain't gonna cut it. We need to sign a serviceable vet plus take a guy in the first two rounds, imho, because the bottom three likely aren't making it out of training camp. And there's no guarantees on Ross, either. If they trade for D-Hop I don't think going WR in 2 is a necessity, more of a nicety. I think it's direr if they don't make that trade. You can't fully trust that Toney or OBJ if they sign him would stay healthy the entire season.
I do think many people are downplaying Justyn Ross "because UDFA" but I'm confident he makes this roster if he's now healthy (it looks like it). Mahomes loved him last minicamp but the foot issue had to be addressed for the future. Without the medicals, he'd probably have been a day 2 pick, and people severely undermine his skill set. You're correct, there are no guarantees but I'd put it more likely than not. [Reply]

There's about an 80% chance they bring back JWat. [Reply]

He's Tillman, basically, if he's 100% healthy.
I have no idea if that happens, or how likely he might stay that way, but that's my comp. [Reply]
"Possible [Hopkins deal]: Traded to the Panthers. In this deal, the Panthers would send the No. 93 selection to the Cardinals, who would pick up $10 million of Hopkins' $19.5 million base salary in 2023. Carolina would also guarantee Hopkins' $14.9 million salary for 2024, putting it on the hook for two years and $24.4 million."
How about a 3rd + MVS for the same financials? Which is basically a wash for us minus ~$2-3m and gives us room to sign OBJ for ~$7-8m also.
Restructure CJ and you have the money we need to pay all those incoming rookies, not much need any longer at WR so we could probably make some trades in the draft to target our guys at OT, DE, and DL.

Or just keep Valdes-Scantling because he fills a needed role in the offense that neither Hopkins nor Beckham really can. And acquire one of the other 2, not both. [Reply]
