Nzoner's Game Room>Tee Higgins Wants "Outrageous" Bag
Pitt Gorilla 11:28 PM 02-03-2023

Report: Bengals WR Tee Higgins "could be traded" for a top draft pick if the team can't reach an extension with him and the money he's asking for is "outrageous", per @TheAtlantic

Higgins is entering the final year of his rookie contract, and went over 1,000 back to back seasons pic.twitter.com/cW0bKNxKqO

Poor Bengals. Instead of three #1 WRs they will have only two. What would it feel like to have one?

First the Patriots and the Chiefs have stayed on top for years because they traded high on players just like Tee Higgens. Also, have to have a HOF calibre QB willing to take less or at a minimum sign a cap friendly deal. Then you have to have an ACE GM and scouting department to hit on the picks. Otherwise, it's nearly a total loss.

In a nut shell, the Bengals KNOW their window is closing. They kinda had to do it this year. Maybe that's why they talked a ton of smack. It's a boom or bust season for them. Pretty rough.

Bills could already be there after failed all in:

But for the Bills to add the necessary pieces, they’ll need to create salary cap space. The NFL informed teams this week that the cap will be $224.8 million next season. This means the Bills need to reduce their cap hit by at least $20 million by the start of the league year at 4 p.m. on March 15, per projections from salary cap websites

If they wanna keep Chase then trade Higgins. You can't have both getting 30 mil a year. That would kill the team with Joe's money coming.

You have an awfully short memory if you can’t remember what it feels like to have a #1 WR.

Trading him is the smart move regardless of how big of hacks are being cited

Wait, how am I supposed to be reading the headline? Is it….

Bengals WR Tee Higgins "could be traded" for a top draft pick if the team can't reach an extension with him and if during the negotiation the money he's asking for is "outrageous"

Or…

Bengals WR Tee Higgins "could be traded" for a top draft pick if the team can't reach an extension with him, and by the way the money he's currently asking for is "outrageous"

If I was Brown family, I would be bringing in some minority owners for some quick injection of cash.

I think he meant the Bridesmaids will only have 2 #1 receivers instead of 3, and a how will they survive at the end.

I see only one team in the league set up for sustained success and it’s not the Bengals.
