Saccopoo Memorial Draft Forum>Tyler Scott, WR, Cincinnati
kccrow 06:16 PM 02-02-2023
To help Direckshun's mental state and not feel like a "dumbass," I am creating the thread for Tyler Scott. This is my ultimate draft crush at WR this year in terms of guys that probably won't be a 1st rounder, but the Chiefs might have to move up in 2 if they want him. He's so very much Tyreek-ish.

He's reportedly 5'9-1/2" 185 lbs, runs a 4.29 40-yd dash, has a 41" vertical, and is likely to post an elite 3-cone as well.

Early knocks are that he needs to learn to play through contact. That's about it. I think he's the guy that could bring that feared speed element back to KC.

Dane Brugler is already all-in on him:

Looking for an underrated WR prospect?#Cincinnati WR Tyler Scott is one of my favorites in the class. A legit day 2 prospect with Tyler Lockett upside in the NFL.

And he's just electric:

Since 2013 (Lane Johnson in the first) they've drafted 6 WR's in the first 2 rounds and 5 OL

I wouldn't be mad if they swapped out one of those for DT. It's all going to depend where they see the OT group though.

Also burned a 1st (18th overall) + 3rd to acquire AJ Brown.

Krow, do you prefer Scott over Hyatt?

No, but they are close to me. Hyatt is bigger and just as fast, plus he torched SEC competition weekly.

I wouldn't be mad at all if we just nabbed Hyatt with our 1st.

I think he's being pretty severely underrated right now. He's Jameson Williams 2.0 without the ACL.

They have virtually the same collegiate career trajectory, a similar build, and both have outstanding speed.

When all is said and done, I imagine Hyatt is no less than the 3rd receiver off the board and a top-20 selection.
