Easy 6 07:39 PM 02-01-2023
How many of you are still brainstorming for food ideas?

How many of you already know whats sizzling?

And how many just don't care yet?

One of the very best things about this place, is how many great cooks and assorted foodies we have among us... so whats cooking for 57?

You seem sarcastic, but I would be TOTALLY fine with some great beer battered cod and hot fries... its a treat worthy of any other

Ribs, jalapeño poppers, Cole slaw and I need a few other ideas. Pretzel bites and cheese sauce sounds good. Potato salad?

Hosting a big party, buddy is doing a brisket, I'm on the pulled pork. Maybe some ABTs. Some high quality beers to property enjoy the game. Sides are on the guests, so should be a mixed bag there. Gonna be a good one!

If you are looking at doing a whole pig. Check out block pits for an above ground pit. Easy to build easy to tend and we have done 3 and all were fantastic. Meat church has a good video on you tube and I can give you some pointers on modifications to the pit build. We normally do a 90 lb pig but the smaller ones just cook quicker

BTW we are doing brisket and Philly cheese steaks with a broad mix of sides. We are having a smaller party than the 2 previous 2 superbowls. Too many people are a distraction plus if the game doesn't go well it is uncomfortable for my guests.
