How do you figure? Last season he had the same heel issue but on the foot he tore the achilles.

He's had this foot issue for years...both feet. Up until now, he's always played on it.

It stands to reason that taking injections and playing on it is what led to the tear. To not repeat that, he chose not to inject and play.

Nothing about that doesn't make sense.

It does. If one of his feet is numb he could easily over compensate with the other foot.

Also cortisone can actually cause tissue damage leading to rupture.

Personally I think Berry wanted to play verse the Colts. But he was limited in his one practice and didn't participate the next 2 days. Reid wasn't taking any chances putting a rusty Berry out there after he did not participate in 2 of the practices.

That is why this week Berry has been full participant in every practice for the first time this season. He doesn't want to be on the sidelines again. He is going to go full on no matter the pain. He wants that Super Bowl.
