This is correct,
He can do all the same jet sweeps etc. He does look like a more natural catcher of the ball tho./ [Reply]

Not sure but he does catch well and run well. Another bigger body for Mahomes and some depth. he may turn out to be a steal in December. I always hated our lack of size at WR but we have reversed that this year and it's awsome. Big Boddies matter in the red zone especially in the cold weather.
He doesn't play big at all.
He's not short, but he's not 'big'. He has a very slight build.
Again, this guy is VERY much a Mecole Hardman sort of player. Very good with the ball in his hands and excellent on sweeps, etc... Very fast (but better quick twitch burst and change of direction, IMO). Tall but lean and angular.
He's no more a red zone 'big body' than Hardman is. And like I said, if he shows anything at all, he very probably spells the end of Hardman in KC long-term. [Reply]
Just yesterday I was bitching to DJ about how Hardman is good on scheduled manufactured touches but struggles to actually run routes consistently and play WR and there are speed options to replace what he brings without paying that motherfucker.
And wouldn’t you know…24 hours later we trade a pick not even in the top 100 of the draft for a guy to do just that…and he’s cheap for 4 more years :-)

A 6 foot WR that runs a 4.3 and was the 20th overall pick? A WR who will cost a grand total of like $5M for the next 3 years and has a 5th year option as well?

The real question is "why not?"
Also that pick is basically a 4th. It’s not a pick in the top 100 [Reply]

Yeah, I mean… it seems we just figured out how to best use hardman against SF. But we’re at a point where we can’t overpay role players. I like hardman but I can’t imagine a scenario where the chiefs pay him next year unless he takes way below what he’ll be offered elsewhere. [Reply]
