I trust Veachs evaluation of this whole draft class and specifically WR, OT and LB.

Trading next year's first round pick and more for a guy that may or may not be good enough is not valuing LT's properly. It's also not valuing draft picks properly.

The drop-off between Darrisaw and Cosmi is not worth the extra draft capital. It's just not.

Ironically enough, I completely agree with your last 2 sentences. I actually hope they go BPA, even if it's not an OT. They'll find a solution to the LT problem. They don't HAVE to do anything they don't want to do.

This has been said about every single prospect. I’m not buying it. Everybody already knew Cosmi was a great athlete. He caught a pass in a game and looked like a big TE running for a TD.

He’s still not a fit for everyone.

Brandon Albert started at left tackle in 2013 while Fisher started at right tackle. The dude was so fucking bad that the Chiefs pulled him late in the season but in the end, he turned out to be a quality LT.

This is why some people are advocating for an Okung to start the season, especially if the NFL goes with a Virtual Offseason again.

And yes, a WR or a DE could start Week 1 without issue because neither one of those players is protecting the half a BILLION dollar QB's blindside.

The NFL is yet to mandate that all players receive the vaccine and it's probably a fight they'd lose against the NFLPA.
