Y'all want to ride with Smith for another year or give Morris a chance? Because there's probably several good to decent prospects who likely will be there when the Chiefs pick.

I see we're not the biggest fans from previous posts.
I don't see him that low but NFL stock exchange mocked him to us twice at 64.

I can't understate how enamored I am with trading up for Fautanu if he gets to 16. If somehow a team prefers him to Fashanu and he falls to that range, I'm all in. It would definitely take a 2nd plus, unless we can get the pick from Atlanta at 43.

With guards making $20 million now, I'd say a guy like Morgan, who's worst case scenario is a premium guard, IMO, is worthwhile if available at 32. Maybe his arms are too short for LT but hey, Mitch Schwartz had almost identical length and he was an All Pro caliber RT. If that's who Morgan is, you're more than happy with that pick.

If a great player falls because he MIGHT not be a LT, I think you have to keep him high on your board when the odds are pretty good that he's going to be a very good RT or G.

Thanks for the list, Crow. I still like mims the best around 20 if we can trade up for him. Mims is probably the 5th or 6th tackle off the board and that should give us the opportunity to trade up for him. If he didnít have injury problems, heís a top 5 pick most years with more experience. We just donít get the opportunity to draft athletes like that with where we pick. Itís risky. I get it but if he pans out, heís our LT for a decade. Iíd try and draft Mims and let him compete with a veteran. Maybe push Morris inside if he canít win the LT competition. Mims, Morris and a veteran could compete for the LT job.

Has anyone given thought to whether or not Josh Jones would be a FA fit?

Opinions?

Jordan Morgan is super athletic, but has shorter arms. I could see Andy liking the athleticism.

Is Blake Fisher more interesting now after losing Alegretti?

He's considered highly versatile and might be the depth guy we need to back our starters up?

I think he probably goes too high for us.

Mims is 100% the guy that shoots up into the Top 15 on draft day.

Mims only had 8 career starts. How many players have been taking in the top 15 with less than 10 starts? I canít think of any?

If he somehow fell to 32 I'd be screaming for the Chiefs to take him

Built awfully similar to Mitchell Schwartz.

One of the higher floors of anyone who could be available to us at 32. I wouldn't mind the pick even a little bit.

Was it this thread that the discussion of moving Juwaan Taylor to the left side was had?

How much of a possibility would that be? I read somewhere that he had some snaps with Jax (and U of Florida) at LT.

Wondering if this is something Andy/Heck would consider? Would allow a ton of flexibility.

If we move Sneed for the rumored 3rd, I think we spend that 3rd moving up for Thomas Jr or an OT, have had a gut feeling about Guyton for awhile now.

Dominick Puni played LT at Kansas, short arms so they will likely move him inside. Looks like a solid jack of all trades.
