Wait what? I'll need someone to cite the average sentence of drunken drivers who almost kill children. There's no way it's less than 3 years. Especially with his previous legal issues. [Reply]
Man, if the sentence was harsher than others convicted of the same crime, they probably oughta work on how they're sentencing other people.
Seems to me that getting a whopping 3 years for slamming drunk into a vehicle and damn near killing a kid oughta not elicit a 'woah, that's pretty harsh' from anyone. [Reply]

Yeah, he's in his second (final) term as governor, and that goes until 2026. By then if he runs for some other job people will probably have forgotten about this. [Reply]
