I watched Wisconsin Death Trip and Exit Humanity last night.
The first is basically a re-enactment of news articles out of the paper in a town from 1890-1900. It really makes you appreciate how much we have and how bad things can be. Horror because this did and can happen.
Exit Humanity is an excellent indie flick with a small cast and the premise: what if a zombie outbreak happened right after the civil war? It's really impressive what they did with a tiny budget and how they got around it. The Sci-fi channel should be hiring directors like this. [Reply]
Wow the children acting and believable makes this a remarkably scary movie.
still watching it but I recommend.
Also hell of a role for Glenn Close she is amazing actress.
Yeah I dug this film as well. Also I love Gemma Arterton and wish she'd get more roles (or at least bigger roles cause she's talented and gorgeous to look at) She is a classy British actress that doesn't play the Hollywood games and doesn't do the whole "casting couch" bs . I respect that about her.

Holy crap I didn't realize this was a real thing but I definitely have it.
There was some popup ad for a skin disorder I saw on a website once and it freaked me out. Wish I hadn't googled the term but at least I'm aware of it now I guess. [Reply]

Imma have to check that out. I came across some "Oats Studios" content and i thought i watched it all, but i don't remember this episode at all so clearly i missed some stuff. [Reply]
That's the 5th episode of a series on Netflix called Oats Studios. It's a Neill Blomkamp side project. Trippy individual scifi episodes. Just OK. The effects are cool at times. But the dialog and acting is pretty cheesy. [Reply]

Yeah a bit like Love+Death & Robots a mixed bag feels like each episode is or has been a pitch for a movie idea. [Reply]
