Nzoner's Game Room>***Official 2023 Royals Season Repository Thread***
ChiefsCountry 12:02 AM 01-01-2023

2023 – A new beginning for the Royals. Matt Quatraro era begins. A year to see which of our young players will make up the core going forward. Can Bobby Witt Jr become a superstar SS or will go to the hot corner? Will Brady Singer take the next step forward? Will Salvy be Salvy? Will Big Vin or Pratto take first base? Will they find a position for MJ? Who else emerges from the youth movement? Not to mention the development of the new downtown stadium.

Like, 8/$100 seems doable. And he's already 25 so he's not gonna see FA until he's 31; he'd be incentivized to do it as well.
John Sherman spend money...that's hilarious.

I’m here now so

a) Expect a great loss. Like a Dozier and Isbel hit for the combined cycle and Lopez goes yard and still lose type of loss.

b) Downtown stadium is where it’s at. Suns are playing .2 miles away. Entire area is lit. Parking a breeze.

So imagine if you can Monster Jam going down at the T-Mobile Center while the Royals host the Rockies.

I’m just happy when the royals are on the west coast and the games start at 830. Saves me any desire to tune in to watch awful baseball

TB has zero advantages - not a one. Shitty park, shitty fanbase, god-awful brutal division. They don't have fabulously wealthy ownership (relatively speaking) and nothing about TB draws players to play there.

There's no reason they should succeed at all but they do by simply being smart. It CAN be done. And they've done it for over a decade. It's not luck.

They're just better at this than anyone else is.

They just optioned Taj Bradley to AAA

And for good reason: he was only 3-0 with a 3.52 era in 15ip. Only has 23k

The Star finally hired a beat writer for the Royals

Personal News: I am excited to announce I am joining the @KCStar to cover the @Royals. Thank you to @USATODAY for a great run and to everyone that helped me on this journey.

This is a childhood dream to cover baseball and I’m excited to get things started. ⚾️
