Path of Exile II Releases in Early Access tomorrow, December 6th, 2024. The price to get in is $30 for early access, but the game will be free if you wait for the official release (approximately 6 months to 1 year from now).
The game will feature 12 classes, with 3 subclasses each, for 36 unique playstyles. The early access will only feature 12 subclasses from 6 classes to start and will slowly add more until the full release. The 12 subclasses will be posted in the next post.

Not sure how farming in PoE2 is, but this is one of the big reasons I love PoE1. There are so many different farm strategies and each one of them can get you at least a handful of divines an hour. So even if you are only playing an hour or so a day, in about a week you have a pretty damn good character. Unless your build uses some unique item that breaks the game and skyrockets in price, you have to actively try to avoid currency strats to not get what you need. [Reply]

If only POE had better graphics or they cared to update it then that would be great. It seems like POE2 is their new baby and the old one will get way less attention though. I did manage to get some upgrades on my toon for about 15 Divines, but I wish I could do different builds the cookie cutter Spark sorc is kinda meh now. [Reply]

My optimistic hope is before they alienate their player base and kill the game, they finally get a second team and Mark heads PoE2 and Chris heads PoE1, or vice versa. Chris stepped back and became just CEO right when his vision of the game (PoE2) was just about to beta release... that's kind of weird to me. So I'm hoping he is/was burnt out and needed an extended vacation and comes back before his game implodes. [Reply]
I'm spamming endless heist for the first day of the event. Hopefully I can find some good Replicas or hopefully a Simplex Amulet to get some divines and work towards mageblood. I'm gonna play a non-meta build and hopefully my gear will be cheap. [Reply]
Looks pretty good, would have liked a brand new end game thing that I haven't seen before but oh well. Will play it, the ascendency with the extra ring looks cool [Reply]

seems like they want to bring over the mechanics from POE1 ya, but with some changes. If that's what you mean. The rogue exile thing looks cool in theory but I doubt there will ever be anything valuable equipped on them. This patch looks cool though, I watched the whole video. [Reply]

Seems like they're seeking to really juice up the endgame with lots of variety, it's early access and I'm sure POE started off in a similar spot. [Reply]

ya it's going to take some time. This looks like a good patch though and I will be definitely starting up a new character and a fresh economy is always appealing. I should probably practice going through the story tbh, it took me longer than I'd like to admit the first time around. [Reply]
Doing a huntress right now, this level up is going a lot better than my first playthrough (I only ever do 1 build per league and make it as good as possible).
Gonna end up doing crossbows because they got a big buff and amazon looks cool for crit and it's new.
RIP my archmage build lol, they completely gutted that thing but it was OP [Reply]

They gutted every good build and are forcing everyone to change it up, I'm not sure if I wanna play until 1.0 hits though. Still stuck on The First Descendant for the time being. [Reply]
Everyone about to riot about the new patch, I'm going to wait for Last Epoch's huge update launch in less than 2 weeks. I'll come back to this hopefully in 1.0 once they actually make it fun to play(hopefully). [Reply]
