All this talk about series, how network TV Sucks, and how hard it is to find quality shows, and some excellent shows that fly under the radar, I need a comprehensive review of all the series I need to see.
For good entertainment, I would be willing to buy DVD sets. But I've recently picked up HBOGO by kiping it from my parents, and recently got Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Here is a listing of shows that I currently own or have seen all the episodes of. If it isn't on the list, just assume I haven't seen it.

I work a fuckton, so it is hard for me catch a series while it is on to get it on the DVR, but I recognize the entertainment value and am willing to go after the Must See shows. Accordingly, I'm not necessarily looking for anything that is still running. I'm up for watching stuff that has run its course.
So what say you, Planet? Which shows should I see?

The first couple of episodes were good, but then it just started going down hill. These guys were supposed to be smart about what they were doing, but then started to do the absolute dumbest things they could possibly do. The writers were making them do the stupidest things just to add drama to the show. I hate that shit. It's terrible writing. [Reply]

Yep. Has turned into a bunch of impossible hijinks and outcomes with a serious facade over it. [Reply]

This show has gotten really good.
Spoiler!
I'm trying to figure out what Conrad is getting at with the only Harry and me knew where that body was. I'm assuming he thinks Harry told his wife and she told her therapist? I'm also curious about who is talking to the cops. Maybe it's Maeve and she had Conrad kill Archie to set him up.
Buddy picked up Showtime, so I rewatched Billions. I'd seen the first 3 (I think) seasons and felt compelled to finish.
It went on too long. It puts me out when characters go against the entire buildup of their character for the sake of continuing the series. But I enjoyed it. Like most finance stuff, you have to be kind of like fuck off with that shit, but some of it is pretty good. Their ability to absolutely pepper every episode with sports and pop culture references and not go back to the well, even once is motherfucking impressive.
Maggie Siff (especially early on) was just gorgeous. Absolutely incredible.
It was a good watch. I recommend it. Derivative sometimes, but an enjoyable watch. [Reply]
