It's a new island nation now named Rockhardia.

At this point all I'm waiting for on the cosmic side is Galactus and the Silver Surfer. Fuck you, Sony

But really, that was just awful storytelling. I cringed at the whole sequence.

Sound like some location from a porno version of the Flintstones.

I like them embracing comedy with Thor and I enjoy his performance but I really hate the whole "Thor's just a big dummy who doesn't understand how things work" schtik.

Ragnarok is in my top 3 MCU movies, and I just love what Waititi has done with the character.
I was really pumped for Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness but it let me down. I think Thor Love and Thunder will pull me back in

I just started Dr Strange yesterday, and after watching Top Gun Maverick a few days prior it was very jarring to see the difference in the movies with regards to CGI usage and in general the weight and feel of action scenes. I didn’t realize how use to green screen action I had gotten and how accepting actors just in a suit running on green stages is the norm of movie magic until seeing something so real in Top Gun.

Ragnarok saved Thor as a main character in the MCU, and Waititi has that goofball direction down to a T. I agree with you that Thor is no dummy and he's running out of redemption arcs to complete in the MCU. Make him the all-around badass at the end of this film, because this formula has a very finite shelf life. IMO

I just watched Strange over the weekend and found the CGI to be pretty jarring too. There were parts that were just truly bad.

I thought it was good, but nowhere near what it could've been.

I actually enjoyed it more watching it a 2nd time, probably because the expectations weren't a factor.

Whereas with No Way Home, I enjoyed it less after a rewatch, because the nostalgia factor wasn't there anymore.

I absolutely beleive Love and Thunder will be better than both, and probably the best since Infinity War.

LOL, I thought so. This will be fun.

Read a couple articles about how this movie is going to suck.

Some who've already saw early screenings are comparing this film to the levels of Batman & Robin, bad. Yikes.

There's criticism, and then there's comparing it to the worst superhero film of all time.

Hope they're wrong, I plan on seeing it.

Having that said, I think Thor's character arc has come to an end.

Man, it doesn't really matter the subject, your takes are just always shit, huh?

The overwhelming majority of reviews for this movie have been extremely positive.

Does anyone else think it is weird that they didn't release it this weekend? Would have thought it would have been a great box office weekend but maybe not.
