Has there ever been a KU shooting guard shoot 33% from the field? (I mean other than Yesefu last year too) cuz Yesefu is tracking to make history.
Shit Grimes even shot 38% and shot a higher pct of threes. Hes giving Naadir Tharpe a run for his money of ineptitude. [Reply]

Yesefu doesn't turn the ball over every time he dribbles or passes though. At least his possessions have a 33% chance to go in the basket. [Reply]
Pettiford's 38% TOV is easily the highest of any KU player with as many minutes as he had (300+) in the Self era. The only player even close was 2012 Nadir Tharpe (36.1%) and he only played 175 minutes.
The only player I saw while looking this who consistently had a higher turnover rate in his KU career was Tyler Self (41.8%) and he only played 95 minutes in his entire career.
Petitford is quite literally the worst rotation guard Self has ever had. [Reply]

Based on the eye test, he doesn't seem like one of the most turnover-prone guards we've had to me. I think it's just a sample size issue. [Reply]

Yesefu just missed a 1 foot layup, but luckily a guy touched the rim. Best case scenario for black hole. [Reply]

338 minutes is a ton of minutes. It's not a sample size issue. He turned it over at the same rate in his limited minutes last year as well (37.2% in 112 minutes). We're looking at almost 450 minutes now where he's been probably the most turnover prone guard in KU history. He has no business being in the rotation for this program. [Reply]
