Pretty sure it is unless he did it again. It never gets old.

Yeah, apparently the dude had been harassing him about it for awhile and Buzz had enough.

Old clip, but astronauts are the bravest among us, the living embodiment of guts... let’s see YOU go do a spacewalk mission outside the ship

Astronauts and special forces//James Bond types are the closest things we’ll ever have to comic book heroes

They tackle the impossible challenges and win

Buzz's son was in my sisters class at Edwards AFB. She said they all kind of ragged on him when they showed video of his dad on the moon.

That had a profound effect on me. That may be the most American moment I've ever witnessed.

Buzz is a feisty MOFO. I remember him signing autographs at a technology trade show along with Carmen Electra around 1998. How they paired those two I don't know.

Buzz was a cranky old fuck then and didn't do photos or other stuff. He had a 250 signing limit I think

The number of people who had to dominate their respective jobs to make this work was insane. Each designer/manufacturer/technician/mathematician/etc. for each system had to be on point. It’s amazing how many things went right.

Aldrin brought communion bread with him. After landing (it was Sunday, 7/20/69), he had communion inside the LEM.

That was when America had heroes. Real, living heroes.

Yes.

All of whom would have survived if something went wrong.
