I always thought of your perspective till in 2002, I needed a PhD in aero to focus on fighter program particular problems. Rush issue at the time. So, I called those I had previously worked with. None would move to DC. I called a buddy at Pax River Naval test facility. He set up an interview with a young (then) woman. Brand new PhD from Purdue.
She watched TopGun as a 13 year old girl and dreamt of becoming “Charlie”
She passed Charlie in every way- no pics. She fixed the issues quickly. [Reply]

Would love to hear stories. I have a lot of GA and part 135 stories but nothing as cool as fighters. [Reply]
