First 3 episodes dropped. A comic from 2002 by Robert Kirkman. I'm already hooked. Never read the comic but wish I did. The animation style is similar to the comic and phenomenal cast.

You know they write a cartoon character really well when they piss you off, haha. Amber is a sincere pain in the ass and was a major distraction for Mark. He needs to figure out Eve is basically in love with him.
It's bloody fun. A few things about this series rub me the wrong way though.
Spoiler!
Man, Nolan is an evil bipolar douche. Playing nice guy superhero dad only to go straight to "What? I thought you'd be happy about killing all your friends and enslaving humanity?" And, it kinda sorta feels like they're developing some kind of redemption story for him. I really hope not.
None of the fights are balanced at all.
Surprising number of scenes where heroes are just standing there mouth open watching another hero get brutally murdered.
Amber is a cunt.
Why didn't Thundercat dude fight Nolan? Now that would have been a fight...

I'm really hoping your last point in spoiler comes to pass. [Reply]

Yeah I'm kind of torn on how I feel about the switch from Omni Man. I'm really glad they didn't do the "he was mind controlled/the guardians were actually evil and he's the good guy for killing them" trope. But at the same time the way they turned Nolan from a superhero to basically a villain caricature was too abrupt IMO.
