Nzoner's Game Room>****Official Mizzou Football 2022-2023 Thread****

Here’s the Tigers’ full schedule:

Sept. 1: Louisiana Tech, 7PM W

Sept. 10: at Kansas State, 11:00AM

Sept. 17: Abilene Christian, 11:00AM

Sept. 24: at Auburn, time TBD

Oct. 1: Georgia, time TBD

Oct. 8: at Florida, time TBD

Oct. 15: Bye

Oct. 22: Vanderbilt, time TBD

Oct. 29: at South Carolina, time TBD

Nov. 5: Kentucky, time TBD

Nov. 12: at Tennessee, time TBD

Nov. 19: New Mexico State, time TBD

Nov. 25: Arkansas, 2:30 p.m.

I found the schedule, so I figured that now is as good of a time as any to start a new thread. Coach Drink has done well turning around the mess that Odom left behind. Solid recruiting has our best commit class in years coming in this year. The schedule isn't bad. A bowl game should be a given. I would like to see 9 -10 wins this year, with one of the wins coming against Arkansas. I really don't like losing to Odom.

Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz called it the best recruiting class ever for the Tigers.

Sure enough, Mizzou's current class is ranked No. 11 by ESPN, No. 14 by 247 Sports and No. 17 by Rivals, the highest in program history

Ok lol…I mean there literally is but not worth arguing about it here too.

Doesn’t matter, recruiting doesn’t mean shit with a goof coaching them.

From said read….

“ This is completely wrong. Would it have been nice to win, yeah. But the atmosphere is #1 and competing is #2. Easy to sell a kid after that game on being the difference and Mizzou not being far off from good.”

Yup they’re not arguing that AT ALL. I apparently can’t read…

So there’s one person arguing. Cool. Clearly reflective of the fan base.

It's been that way since we joined. Seems like they still see us as outsiders or something but in SEC games, we never get the calls.

If you think it is just the officiating that see us as outside interloper, you are wrong. It is the mindset of old guard SEC schools and fans. All you have to do is hear the sports stations in the old guard South schools and you can see we are Cousin Eddie from Vacation.

Just hard for Mizzou to overcome how much Brady Cook sucks. He takes the air out of the whole team.

Cook is just a quality backup QB. Good enough to play if your starter goes down for a bit, but long term starter nope.

Offense looks like the keystone cops. Cook is awful, Burden can't catch, OL doesn't block.

Surprised Rakestraw wasn't called for PI there

I can't really tell if it's a fumble or not. I don't think they can over turn this. This D is pretty good.
