Hhmm. If he can out leap any DB then he can be our red zone bread and butter. Run routs into the endzone and have Patrick throw high enough that only he can catch. Touchdown every time. [Reply]

He's doing drills to train to gear down into a cut. Of course, it looks slow as shit. It's not a full-fledged route. It does show his foot is more than fine. [Reply]

It would be nice to see if he has an NFL skill-set.
I question if he does (did as far back as the pre-draft process) but I sure would like to get a healthy OTA/Camp period to find out.
Like you said, in a vacuum those drills don't mean much. But if nothing else the nature of the drills would seem to suggest that his lower half is healthy.
First part of showing out is showing up - so it's a good sign. [Reply]

Chiefs won championships, but the negative assholes still wake up to the same degree of failure at life that made them negative assholes in the first place. [Reply]

After what we did last year with a whole new group of WR’s along with the other rookie DB’s, there’s no reason to doubt this team. It probably took a little while for some of us(myself included) to get past the “because Chiefs” mentality, but Mahomes, Varch and company have done enough to earn our trust. [Reply]
