Clemson WR Justyn Ross is signing with the #Chiefs to their 90-man roster, per source.
Ross led the ACC in receiving as a freshman in 2018, ranked fifth nationally with 21.7 YPC and was second in receiving touchdowns. He also stands 6-3, 210 pounds. High quality addition for
Yeah, if he gets major playing time, that means they think he's good enough to contribute so if that happens, we win in a big, big way. Everyone should be hoping he contributes rather than getting buried on the depth chart. Some of these marginal guys are going to have to step up if we're going to maintain our championship window.
That being said, I don't have much confidence he'll be anything of note, just based on recent history. Not saying it's impossible, or even improbable, but he's got a BIG hill to climb to be a contributor on this team. [Reply]

These are the "good ole days" and we are in them! Enjoy it....and if he doesn't pan out, no biggie. We're into him for peanuts. It's like Thanos said. Stop seeing the world for what it is and start seeing it for what it can be (or something close to that).

IMO, this the best take in the thread. :-) [Reply]
I really don't understand the pessimism. This front office and coaching staff has done an AMAZING job of finding value. And they've done an even better job of cutting losses when players don't pan out. If Ross is healthy and can play, you got first round talent as an UDFA.
if he can't stay healthy or play, you risked nothing. This is an extraordinary situation. [Reply]

This. There is zero reason not to see this through. [Reply]
