SHUT THAT FUCKING SHIT THE FUCK OFF YOU INCONSIDERATE COCKSUCKERS!! :-)

Like you said, ear buds or nothing.

Nah, music is fine on the course as long as you follow simple rules and are considerate about those around you or that you are playing with.

1. Volume low enough that nobody else can hear it.
2. If other players are close enough to you, turn it all the way down while they shoot.
3. Groups ahead of you, or behind you, or on other holes should never hear your music.

Back in NJ when I belonged to a country club, I would use them often. Walking the course without a bag and having someone up ahead spotting every tee shot is perfection. Raking the bunkers, handing you clubs, cleaning your clubs, helping you read putts with local knowledge and telling you best place to aim for off the tee based on your skill makes it much easier to play 18 holes.

Very relaxing and more engaging as a group.
Going on a golf trip to Vegas next week with a bunch of guys from my club. A couple of the courses we are playing have fore caddies. Never played with them before so it's going to be interesting.

If they had adhered to those rules I would have no problem with it either.

Several times they had it blasting loud enough to hear from the next fairway. Let alone while you are trying to putt or tee off having it blasting from their cart in your group.

Ya, that's terrible. I would have complained about that as well. In the famous words.......

I liked that and probably played my best golf doing that. Fun times. These days my body has betrayed me and it's been all cart golf.

I was spotting balls once when the MO Sr Amateur was at our course. I was 16 years old I think. I was on the 18th hole and the head pro calls me up to the pro shop to caddie which by those days that wasn't really a thing. So I go up to the pro shop and find out I'm not just caddying i'm caddying double. I'd never caddied for anyone before so what deal it was to caddy double for two SR golfers. Got paid $8.00 from each player. I thought I did alright since I only lost one 4 iron .
Years ago, I had an opportunity to play the Teeth of the Dog in the Dominican Republic. The course had a requirement to have a caddie with us. Wow, what a difference it made.

Sir. you want to aim your tee shot over that hill and let the ball roll back down to the left etc.
Sir, you should aim your putt over here and try to have the speed die off right about here.

Of course, I never knew where my tee shots would go, but the putting advice as very welcome. At the time, the expected tip was about $20. I gave the caddie $50 as the round was so much more enjoyable due to his advice. .

Played on a Tiger Woods course in Cabo where we all had caddies. We got on during members hours and played in a foursome with a guy who had a tour card. It's as nerve wracking as any round I've ever played.

Please dear god don't make this poor bastard wander the course all day while I'm spraying balls left and right...

Thankfully, the group of guys I'm going with (32 of us) do a "buy in" of sorts that covers green fees, carts, tipping at courses, etc.

I don't know if it's still around but there used to be a Caddychicks.com where you could hire hotties to caddy for you. Not sure that would be same experience as regular caddies but it could prove to be a fun day.

It depends...is that on top of a fee that you are already paying for them? Typically, you will already be charged a fee of about $100, so yes a $50 tip is good. If there is no fee, then $50 isn't going to cut it.

Some courses just want you to pay them in full in cash, that's why it matters.

Looks like there's a different company that does it now.

About 30 years ago a bunch of NJ State Troopers, a couple of them were friends of mine, held a golf event and hired about 8-10 escorts. There were about 40 golfers and they were getting blowjobs, handjobs and fucking some of these women in the woods while playing.

It was a big scandal.......

That sounds familiar.

Out of the two links I posted Platinum Tees looks like one to go with.

They do seem to have a more morally casual vibe...

Plow, if you don’t have 50 bucks your caddie will gladly take a rough handjob.
