Media Center>If you could go back in time...

The old movie thread got me thinking.

Of all the female actresses/celebrities born after 1900 and before 1950, which one(s) would be that "girl."

For me:

1) Ann-Margret
2) Raquel Welch
3) Yvonne DeCarlo

Yep, Yvonne was beautiful back in the day.

I could list more, but want to see responses.

Carry on.

Audrey Hepburn is definitely that one for me, but to throw another name in the hat...

Every Christmas the White Christmas musical ultimately finds its way on some playlist and Vera-Ellen could tick the box too.

This one doesn't quite fit the established parameters because she was born after 1950, but this is Terri Garber, best known for playing Patrick Swayze's scheming, evil sister in the 80s civil war mini-series North and South.

She was the standout in a cast loaded with beautiful women.

Ann Margaret, Sophia Loren and Liz Taylor is hard to hang with - that's kinda the holy trinity of the era, IMO.

A couple classic photos as a tangent:

Poor Lauren Bacall - that's just getting blown off the map.

A couple of my favorites, on of whom is just criminally underrated.

Angie Dickinson is just adorable. And when in the right setting, an absolute smokeshow.

Maureen O'Hara was just striking to me:

Vivien Leigh -- either it's the eyes (huge and expressive) or just the fact that she was an incredible actress; always found her very attractive.

But mostly this is an Angie Dickinson appreciation post. Her constantly getting left off lists with people like Doris Day and her horse teeth or someone relatively plain like Ingrid Bergman just never made sense to me.

Yeah - hell of a pull right there. Wow.

I'd walk through fire if Feathers asked me nicely.

She just carried herself differently and that voice is so unique.
