2018 also had a big game from Watkins. When he was on and healthy, it almost wasn’t fair. Plus, we still had Hunt. On top of that, the League wasn’t really familiar with Mahomes yet. There was no film or experience.

This was more impressive imo.

Yeah, guessing by the timing, it's like someone said "okay, show this one when the Cards score to flaunt our QB" with zero context... Kyler didn't even score the TD and I think had one pass over 10 yards on the drive.

ESPN gave him 94/100 QBR for Week 1. MVP level is 75/100. Pretty good start to the season.

Mahomes threw 5 TD's in a game for the 6th time. Drew Brees has the record at 11 games. Pretty sure Mahomes shatters this record.
