I think we all expect that the trio of Mahomes, Kelce, and Hill will still be a potent group, and that the offense will work itself out to some degree.
There are pieces we need to fit in to be complete, but I think it's also obvious that the defense is the most pressing issue.
so what's your plan?
Can Spags? Who's your hire?
What players are you letting walk, re-sign, what positions are you drafting?
Who do you feel good about rolling with moving forward? [Reply]
I keep Spags and go hard on pass rushers while moving Jones back to DT. I obviously let go of Clark, Hitchens, Neiman, Sorenson, and possibly Mathieu if his contract demands a ridiculous. I also look for another LB and safety. I would also look for CB help because that can always be improved, although I don't think they would look as bad as they do right now if we had a competent pass rush.
Who would I bring in? Not sure as I don't watch CFB enough to know who is and isn't a stud. Also would have to see who is available via FA and how much we have in cap to spend. [Reply]
Make Fenton a starter, get a good CB. Draft a safety to pair with Thornhill. Move Jones back to DT. Danna starts at one DE. Gay, Bolton all play. Hitches cut [Reply]

Bolton and Gay I guess.
Its not like the 4-3 guys we have are so good we have to cater the new scheme to them. There's no one on defense good enough to limit our options when it comes to coaching and scheme. [Reply]

We gonna pay Jones north of $20m to occupy double teams? That seems like a waste of resources.
I'd trade him, but I doubt at his salary we'd find takers.
Bolton and Gay would be fine as ILB, but we've got no dominant nose, and no real 3-4 ends. Not to mention no OLB'ers. [Reply]
