The #Ravens are trading LT Orlando Brown to the #Chiefs, per me and @MikeGarafolo. A new blindside protector for Patrick Mahomes.

Kansas City is trading its first-round pick Thursday night, along with three other picks in the 2021 and 2022 drafts, to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for Pro Bowl OT Orlando Brown and one pick in the 2021 draft and another in 2022, per sources.

If you look at it as the Chiefs were going to blow 31 on a tackle anyhow, KC basically gave up a 94, 136, and a 5 for a 58 and a 6. That means we gave up about the value of pick 75 for pick 58. A nice boost to adding a Pro Bowl LT. Kinda hoping Brown drops a bit of weight and becomes a little more nimble for this offense, but other than that I think he's a beast and will certainly improve the run game.

I think we probably overrate the difference in pick 31 and 58 anyhow.

Once you get past that first 15-20, shit starts to become muddled.

If his head is on straight I would be all over that. Legit HOF talent who would thrive with Mahomes. He would be a huge upgrade over what we had with Watkins. Problem is though not sure what his mental state is or how he would take being option #3.
