BREAKING: Orlando Brown Jr. will report to Chiefs Camp today and play on the franchise tag. Sources close to Brown say he is in the best shape of his life and knows how important the first 5 days of pads are for him, the team and to HC Andy Reid. Mahomes gets his left tackle back

OK so let all stop questioning his commitment. He is betting on himself, and if he wins its good for both sides. Just going to cost us more money. [Reply]

Agreed. That's why I figured all along that he would not hold out. He needs to do whatever he needs to do to be the best player he can. That means play, because he's betting on himself. [Reply]
I mean showing up today is huge but confirmation that he'll sign and play on the tag well that's the first time we've heard in a definitive way that he's doing that.
I think half of all the angry posts in here were because everyone was worried that this would carry into the season.
Him signing and practicing means that this kind of worked out for the best. Want to bet on yourself? Cool, love it. As long as you show up and actually do that. And it seems like he will.
Now I'm rooting for his level of play to keep ascending and next season for him to get a contract with the Chiefs instead of anyone else. [Reply]

Yeah that's why I thought he would skip out on the whole st Joe part.
And they were still in meetings and doing some installs of the offense so it's not like he missed nothing. So yeah, it makes no sense to have missed out on the portion he missed out on. He should have just came on time. [Reply]
