Ward and Breeland on the outside. Hughes in the slot.
Yeah, he just needs to get healthy.

Potentially add Breeland to that group and you don’t have a single weak spot

Liked Hughes a lot coming out of the draft, obviously hasn't had the start to his career that he wanted but this is a nice buy low option for Veach.

Low risk, high reward. Why not take a stab, Bart Varch strikes again

So he was a 1st round pick.

That means he has a 5th year option that the Chiefs could exercise if he pans out, right?

I don’t see this as impacting the Breeland decision.

Hughes is TC competition for Baker.

Tells you what he thought of Hughes at the time of this draft and when he would be possibly available(or better, making him available by approaching them first but we really don't know who approached who first) but yes I totally concur that a good GM never leaves any stone unturned but even better creates a stone to be turned when there are none, to meet a need.:-)

"Is he a bust?" videos make me less excited lol.

For a second i thought this was a sure fire starter, this sounds like a high upside reclamation project.

Which is cool too.

Low risk, potentially high reward. I like it.
