Decaf coffee and 1 1/2 gallons of water each day flush my system better than an oil change at a Rolls Royce dealership. [Reply]

It fucks you up long term
Anorexics and fasting are not even close to the same thing. [Reply]

You're making a lot of silly statements.
You know who dies young?
Rappers
Drug addicts
Obese people
Heavy smokers
Alcoholics
People in extreme poverty
People in high crime areas
People with dangerous jobs
People who eat refined sugar, high fructose corn syrup, gluten, drink soda all day, eats snacks constantly eat processed and fast food every day, eat a lot of salt.
People with genetic or hereditary defects.
You know who doesn't die young? People who do control fasts. [Reply]

It works fantastic and I highly recommend it for a certain group of people.
It's not a crash diet so please don't conflate issues.
It is the process of going into complete Ketosis, having your body use up all your carbo and protein fuel sources for the first 24-48 hours, then having your stored fat reserves be used for fuel.
Your cells going through autophagy and pirge toxins all over your body. You go through an incredible regeneration.
The need for anyone, including myself, to have to redo fasting is because we go back to back eating/no exercise habits.
Fasting is a FANTASTIC weapon to improve health but once again, it is NOT right for certain people. [Reply]

I agree, I was just saying. I’ve had a lot of convos with Scho about it. [Reply]

That is a very long debate that can go on for awhile but I'll sum it up real fast
-unhealthy lifestyles
-sedentary jobs
-bliss points created in labs so real foods don't taste as good
-poor people eat what they can afford
-time constraints lead to convenience over quality

Not only is it NOT a long debate, it's not even debatable.
I’ve heard fasting is very good for you but isn’t a dangerous thing to do it for too long? Not eating nutrients after 48 hours seems to be pretty damn dangerous to me.
I’m not up to date on the science on this though [Reply]
