Its fitting that the Cleveland's NFL team is named the Browns (which is the same color as a massive shit of poop) :-) jfc talk about getting taken to the cleaners with that historically awful trade.:-) [Reply]
Im surprised he chose the Browns. Money talks of course but I thought he originally wanted out of Houston to go to a winning, better ran organization. So much for that. In the end he didnt have any winning organizations chasing after him. [Reply]

Browns have the most talented roster compared to the other teams rumored to be in the hunt for him.
The Saints would be a close second, but Stefanski > Dennis Allen. [Reply]

The thing is, the AFC is loaded and only reaching the SB will in anyway make up for this trade. If the Browns fail constantly over the next years, and winning couple playoff games won’t cut it, this will be seen as a failure, especially given the surroundings of Watson. [Reply]

Not really IMO. Because they'll have a shot every year now. Before they wouldn't have. [Reply]
The Browns don’t care about the negative looks they’re getting. They saw every other team in the AFC pulling away and they knew that Baker wasn’t getting them anywhere. So they outbid every one else and still won’t win shit. [Reply]

As it turns out, the compensation on the blockbuster trade has changed: Browns now are giving up six draft picks for Deshaun Watson; also instead of giving up a 2024 5th-round pick, it’s now a 2024 6th-round pick, per today’s wire. pic.twitter.com/Y98WFPmYeE

Yes and no. They're going to be near the end of each round. I'd do it for a QB like that. I actually thought the Texans would get more by way of proven talent, in addition to all those picks. [Reply]

I wouldn’t be so sure of that. With the AFC as stacked as it is, I don’t think this is a guarantee at all.
Also, there’s still the possibility of a significant suspension. [Reply]

Yes, maybe so. Especially for the 2023 draft. But he is a legit franchise QB and they have a stacked roster on both sides of the ball. Once he can play, they may not be picking number 32, but I think they'll be picking somewhere from 24 on down. The length of the suspension is key IMO. [Reply]
