May I ask - everything kinda pushes this guy down 3 rounds on his 'character issues'....is it JUST the sexual batter charges?

I get it. But have I missed multiple drug suspensions and additional domestic violence situations? Because it seems like this has pushed him way the hell down for something that was a couple years ago if there have been no recurrences.

I'm unaware of any other issues with the guy aside from the sexual battery charge. I'm sure everyone knows but just in case, battery is usually non-consensual sexual contact (grabbing a tit or ass, fondling a vag, kissing, etc). Basically, it could have been on equal grounds to what Urban Meyer did but he isn't famous yet...
I've been extremely high on the guy and think that if this was it, he probably has learned from it, and you can get a guy that should be a pretty high pick for a surprisngly great discount. [Reply]

I could definitely see them doing something like that to get a guy they want. Much more value in that, IMO, than packaging the same pick to move up in the 1st (where it only moves you up about to #26).
And puts you in cherry position to select one of the DBs or WRs who might slip into that range.
I think they will trade down to the 37-40 range and add another 3rd.

I don’t think you can go wrong with either of those 3. I’d prefer Hill, Cine, and Brisker in that order, but you can make an argument for any of them being a good pick at 30.
Cine would give us another big fast freak athlete inside like Sneed that tackles very well. I think he fits what we’re building with Bolton and Gay too.

Yea, many things have to happen in free agency to take a safety in round 1.
I’d be fine with Sam Williams, and I’m very close to adding him to this list. Just need to see more buzz about him going that high, which I think will come. [Reply]

For all the talk about what he 'could have' done, there's a real concern that what he actually did wasn't all that great even when he was healthy.

Yeah, that's where I'm at on him. 2nd round possibility. I just remember all the things he was supposed to be before he got hurt...nowadays they can recover from almost anything.
I've mentioned my desire to get Jameson numerous times so I won't go into that again, but Pickens with the 2nd is just as good, if we can get a legit DE with our 1st.
His sklill set is there and he comes from a school known for producing quality WRs.
Perfect world, I think I'd like to still grab Jameson and find a way to steal Danielle Hunter for a prove it contract...but a Karlaftis/Pickens combo would be pretty damn good as well, while being WAY cheaper. [Reply]

I'd honestly have Cine ahead of both Hill and Brisker, looks absolutely legit. Also think Pitre deserves more attention and has a lot of flexibility across CB and S [Reply]
