Tons of penalties this postseason... Avalanche/Preds were pretty average, but most series are far over normal regular season stats. It's maybe made for some less competitive games, but still preferred over the opposite extreme. [Reply]

Thought it would be a bit more of a series, at least 5 if not 6 games... and it wasn't too far off considering games 2 and 4. And of course would have been different with Saros.
Too bad we didn't get Preds/Flames, that could have been a good series. [Reply]

Wow, the atmosphere looked/sounded insane (which I guess it should be when lower level is like $1k/ticket).
Games have been really good the past couple nights... glad the Rangers extended their series.
I was just thinking about how the Panthers remind me of the Avalanche of a few years ago.... a team to be excited about in the regular season, because they can come back from any deficit in no time at all. Yet, they don't really play playoff hockey and it bites them in the ass. I was thinking that at 3-0, before they scored 4 straight goals. :-) [Reply]
Yeah. There was a big goal last night I think and she SCREAMED over everything... good god, give it a second for the moment to speak for itself.
I don't think she's 'lock grandma in a cage' bad though.... she follows the play well and is accurate (granted, I usually don't pay much attention). She sounds more like a radio play-by-play person and should probably not say so much all the time. I was chatting with someone who says her biggest problem is not having 'a voice', and she is kind of robotic with it (until a goal is scored). [Reply]
I'm way behind on the Flames/Stars, but she did seem to do a lot better on the first goal vs watching her previously.... just a "it's IN!!" and then shut up for a few seconds and didn't continue screaming. [Reply]
I was a bit surprised the Canes didn't close it out... both teams have given up 5 goals in every road game, but thought they would maybe take that next step.
Zero people are surprised TB/Leafs is going 7.
Blues and Oilers are tough to predict with goalie play.
