Nzoner's Game Room>Frank Clark fucking sucks
RealSNR 02:33 PM 09-15-2019
Guy has done NOTHING in two games. Barely any pressures to speak of against trash OTs.

Yeah, I'm in bitchy gameday mode. Don't care. I'm tired of paying out the ass for defensive players who don't make plays.

At least Justin Houston could dominate against bad teams after we paid him.

Exactly!

Yeah. He's been good. My buddy and I were talking cap and who has to go, and he was just going through the salaries and Wilson came up and I'm pretty sure my face looked like this.

He’s only due 3.8 mil next year but you could save 3 mil by cutting him but then you’d have to find a replacement at LB.

I got so much shit for simply giving Veach credit for this signing after the first few weeks.

Yeah, they're not cutting that guy. As good and consistent as he's been, that's a bargain.

so if you extrapolate the last 5 games (in which Clark has STILL been hurt and/or deathly ill), he would be on pace for a 16 sack season, 100 plus tackles, 15tfl, 15 hits, 3 INT's and 10 forced fumbles.

So that's what he can do, and we might see more if he's able to get actually healthy.

Everybody needs to get off of Frank's ass. IF we make a Super Bowl run here, he and Jones and the rest of that front four rotation will be a big reason why.

not an emptyquote

Wilson's looked like an excellent signing ever since camp started. He stood out in a big way during the pre-season and unlike Lee, was showing signs of maintaining that level even during a brief mid-season doldrums period when he fell back a little bit.

Reasonable multi-year contracts with guys like that are crucial when you're trying to build around big-ticket players.

Yeah, I don't recall many/anyone complaining about the Wilson signing. Hitchens, OTOH.

There’s nothing to complain about because he was cheap.

But that’s the point. It’s an excellent value FA signing that many on here refused to give Veach credit for because he’s “JAG”. That’s ridiculous.

They are crucial for whatever you're trying to build. That's where the value is.
