ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- The Harris Poll, a nationwide customer survey of their favorite brands, has released its 2018 results.
The poll surveyed more than 77,000 customers in the U.S. on more than 3,000 brands to find which companies are the favorites among consumers.
Respondents weighed in on everything from printers to pizza, and the results are surprising. Here are some of consumers’ top choices.
Best Mexican Restaurant: Taco Bell
The after-hours crowd is still probably Taco Bell's biggest customer base, but the company has grown its popularity through creative ads like the Nacho Fries conspiracy theory movie trailers starring Josh Duhamel and a strong social media presence.

Wait, you first compared Chipotle to Taco Bell, now you're changing it to a local chain that serves authentic Mexican? Chipotle probably isnt as good as a place that makes authentic Mexican but its light years ahead of Toxic Smell. [Reply]
1970's...i was working at a dq and my bud was working at a taco tico a couple blocks down the road. i drove back and forth, swapping shakes, and shit for tacos, cause i don't think they had those chimmi changas and whatnot back then. anyway, i was helping them shut down one night. scooping some re-fride beans out of the big pan into the pan the servers use when they make tacos, burritos, shit like that. thing was, about half inch on the top of those beans, they were white and dry, like nasty rotten bean.
so, i say to my buddy, who i was helping out..."hey, dude, what the eff is up with these beans?".
and he says, "hey man, scrape the mold off the top of the beans!"
go ahead and laugh.

I've been to Chipotle once and found it to be bland and overrated. I go to Taco Bell and find it to be exactly what I expect it to be, which I'm fine with. And if I had to choose between the two, I'd go to Taco Bell. Doesn't mean I'm giving it five stars, though.
But I'd rather go to the other place, because it's far better than both of them. [Reply]

Yeah but it's not really 'Mexican Food'.
I mean, it's like this :
I eat Taco Bell, not because I think it's really actually Mexican food in any way, but because I'm broke and I hate myself...but I really like tacos, if that makes sense. [Reply]
