Michigan has an argument for #1, but even if you put them there then Alabama is still at #2. And as many have pointed out, the committee didn’t want to immediately rematch Georgia-Bama as that game was just played.
So even if you wanna put Michigan at #1 and Bama at #2, then the committee would have just bumped Cincy up to #3 (which you can make an argument for since they’re undefeated and have a win over a Top 10 team) and dropped Georgia to 4.
The results in the Playoff would still ultimately end up the same and you’d still have two SEC teams who both earned their way into the playoff with their full body of work over the course of the entire season. [Reply]

Fake slides should be penalties in the future.
I don't blame him for doing it, but this needs to be corrected in the future.
The ball is dead when a ball carrier simulates placing a knee on the ground or he begins a feet-first slide. This play may not meet the letter of the rules, it meets the spirit. The defense is clearly placed a disadvantage. This action should cause the ball to become dead.(1/2) https://t.co/8cWPeukxz9

That's what I thought would happen too and it clearly didn't haha. [Reply]

I'm assuming you meant Big 12 Championship there.
Yes, as I said, Nebraska is in the toilet. But it's still more fun and interesting football then watching Iowa, who when the shit gets real folds like a cheap pup tent. Again, you twits were fixing to lose handily to Nebraska last week until the Huskers decided they just were not going to win the game. The fact that you barely beat Nebraska, and got humiliated against a Michigan team that also barely beat Nebraska...
Eh. I realize, I can't say shit when my team wins 3 games. Enjoy your season, I wish my team had won the games they were in position to win. The difference is, Huskers know how to lose, Hawkeyes know how to win...until the competition exposes them like last night. [Reply]
