Nzoner's Game Room>PFF is at it again

Mahomes vs Burrow (not excited about dropping this grenade)

Mahomes had three big time throws (likely the Toney drop, MVS touchdown, MVS deep crosser) and one TWP (fumble).

Burrow had the same. Slightly surprised the first INT wasn't one pic.twitter.com/ugMNBctONg

Mahomes was injured and missing his best receivers (aside from Kelce) and still scored more TDs, threw 0 picks, and most importantly won.

But he wasn't the better QB? lmao okay dudes

They don't even have to look at those factors.

Better completion percentage, more yards, more TD's, and less INT's. It's so basic it's inexcusable at this point.

The only legit knocks on Mahomes’s performance were missing MVS on that post and the fumble.

The miss to MVS may well have been due to his ankle though.

But they pull out some bullshit like his receivers were more open, or that is a play he is expected to make, or that ball should have been intercepted, etc.

Burrows pass on want bad, it was just a good defensive play.

Our DL was better so Mahomes had more time, so Burrows did more the pressure

It’s all bullshit that ends up so convoluted, and everyone can tell it’s bullshit

Throw all their shit away. Seriously.

I know some people use it for positions like OL because it's really hard to assess those positions sometimes, but even when they claim a Chiefs player is really good, I ignore it.

PFF is crap in a bag.

They're dead on, for the highest and lowest. They just seem to suck at evaluating QB play.

It's because PFF uses subjective criteria for scoring. Football Outsiders and other services are FAR better than PFF because they don't employ a rating system that has 30-something virgins sitting in their mom's basement watching 5 different 24" TV's.

PFF on Mahomes looks as dumb as Prison Bitch lover Fangraphs on the 2015 Royals.

That's hard to believe. I could at least see it if Burrow played out of his mind like Josh Allen last year. I don't know what the PFF scores were for that game but Mahomes and Allen truly went toe to toe. Burrow had 2 INTs and didn't have a legendary game.

Burrows best plays were throw it into double coverage 50/50 balls and trusting your amazing WR's to come down with it... which they did.

Burrow was damn lucky to not have 4 INT’s in that game.

That’s the crux of it. They create this illusion that they are objective, and are clearly not.

Just look at the OL chart, with no context. Take the names off the screen. It's complete nonsense

Those run block grades look awfully high. Maybe they skipped all first downs.
