Nzoner's Game Room>*****The George Karlaftis Thread*****
Dante84 09:16 PM 04-28-2022
More to come!

What are the #Chiefs getting in George Karlaftis?

Had an NFC Personnel executive tell me “He reminds me of J.J. Watt, when Watt was coming out. An explosive and versatile playmaker who has a high motor and can line up at 3,5, or 7. Very strong kid” #NFL #NFLDraft pic.twitter.com/5qM3g6OrMr

George Karlaftis was drafted with pick 30 of round 1 in the 2022 draft class. He scored a 9.23 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 116 out of 1503 DE from 1987 to 2022. https://t.co/iXXBvnoFJc #RAS #Chiefs pic.twitter.com/eZ9XjNRDUB

“I was sitting there the whole night hoping we’d be able to get you.”

This! We needed his energy and leadership on defense.

2 studs on the first day. A plus!

So we should've drafted him in the 7th round. Not the 1st.

Josh Allen has a grounded football with Karl's helmet as it's target

I call them as I see them. And I'm being honest. I'm ok with the 1st pick, but don't think it was worth the picks it cost to move up. Not happy with the 2nd pick. Don't think he is 1st round talent. Sorry. I could be wrong. We'll see.

Genuinely feel bad on this, and want to do it right. Do you guys want me to hold off on the individual player threads?

My approach has historically been to launch it and start throwing shit in the OP while everyone else is doing the main draft thread before the server melts down.

I will absolutely hold off on posting if that's the preferred method - just let me know.

Yeah, well... You don't know shit.

So that makes this better.

Booger lives up to his nickname and Kiper and his greasy hair can go fuck himself. Those guys are the Kardashians of "experts", experts because someone told them they are. Our resident expert, one Travis Kelce, seemed to be very happy with this pick and he plays football for a living.

And I know this is probably an unpopular opinion, but his arms are FN short. I don't think that college success rate will carry over to the NFL.

I obviously hope he is great, though.

I’m saying he’s Clark’s replacement. KC gave Seattle a 1st and 2nd for Clark.

Lol! Ok. We'll see if you do. Do you even have a clue as to why you think you like them?

That's exactly what I said when we made the pick. There's a reason why measurables matter in the NFL.

I'd rather see a thread on each of the picks rather than 1 mega thread. It keeps the discussions relevant.
