His status for Sunday's game (6 days) against the Giants is now in question, and the Chiefs and Chargers will play in 9 days.
"If Allen is vaccinated, he will be able to return after two negative tests taken 24 hours apart or after a 10-day isolation period. If unvaccinated, he’s out for 10 days for a positive test or five days if he’s a close contact to someone who tested positive."
The Chargers have placed WR Mike Williams and CB Chris Harris, Jr. on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Mike Glennon likely to play instead of Fromm which is a boost. They actually have a very decent defense and if Herbert is missing williams and Allen that's huge imo. All the giants need to do is go run heavy with play action..i think they could easily steal this one if Barkley gets going. [Reply]
Chargers coach Brandon Staley said Mike Williams is day-to-day and did not rule him out for Week 14 against the Giants.
Williams was added to the COVID list as a close contact of Keenan Allen, who was put on the list earlier this week. Because Williams is unvaccinated, he is out for five days. However, the five-day period starts at the time of the contact and that was deemed to have happened on Monday. While Williams will likely miss the entire week of practice, he should be able to suit up for the Chargers' Week 14 game against the Giants. Allen also has a shot at playing this week because he is vaccinated. [Reply]
