I think the best comparison would be Seahawks/GB, with several memorable playoff games and a nearly even split (5-4 GB).

That would make Wilson's nemesis Rodgers.

#8 : Russell Wilson, 2015 NFC Championship Game
This is probably the loss that stings most out of all of these games. The Packers had a 16-0 lead and forced Russell Wilson to throw four interceptions. As everyone knows, Green Bay then completely fell apart. Wilson found somewhat of a groove, including a game-winning OT pass, but for the most part, he was bad.

He was pretty good his rookie year. Last year he was really bad while playing through injury, but he was even pretty disappointing before the injury. A dog crap year for being the Andrew Luck of pass rushers in a draft.

Rodgers is a playoff clown. Wilson the better choice

Remarkably similar to Bradley Chubb, even with a franchise QB (Justin Herbert) they should have taken going a few picks later.

UhOh

In a team period in the redzone, Russell Wilson scrambled. Did the reverse spin we’ve seen so many times and threw on the run for a TD. He was swarmed by offensive players after the play. It was interesting, you don’t usually see that type of reaction in the middle of a period.

They haven’t had a qb that understood the forward pass in years and years. Sad state they’re in

Yeah, he was hyped as an even better prospect than the Bosa bros..

He obviously won DROY so he isn't all hype but his sophomore season was a massive disappointment.

*WARNING*

Russell Wilson on practice: “Guys were making plays all over the place today, just touchdown after touchdown. Making plays, great catches. And the defense was making great plays, too. It was such a competitive practice. It felt like a championship-type week in OTA 1.’’ #9sports

The Broncos are behind. They don’t even pick until rd 3 next year and they will be paying Russell Wilson a monster contract next Spring so money will be tight. No way is he playing in a contract year.

They also will lose one of DreMont Jones and/or Bradley Chubb. And Jeudy will be asking for $20+ million too bc he will be eligible to get a new contract.

They also have a 30 year old tackle and no real RT to speak of next Spring. Bolles has 2 years left after this season and will be entering his contract year turning 32. Denver will have a first rd pick at that point but good LT’s are very difficult to find bc they aren’t available often. So Denver might be giving up more picks to trade up for one in the draft.

Denver not having a 1st rd pick or a 2nd next year is going to hurt. Paton has shown no signs of getting a difference maker after the early 2nd rd thus far.

It’s harder when well run teams like the Chiefs have tons of draft picks 2 years in a row and draft well. They also have Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes.
